Oldschool Runescape Barrows

The Barrows minigame is a combat minigame released by Jagex on the 9th of May in 2005. In the Barrows minigame you can get valuable rewards which is why a lot of players play the minigame for making GP, and in general the purpose of the minigame is to kill the Barrows brothers and hope for good loot. There are six Barrows brothers: Ahrim the Blighted, Dharok the Wretched, Guthan the Infested, Karil the Tainted, Torag the Corrupted and Verac the Defiled. Each Barrows brother has a combat level of 115 (except for the level 98 Ahrim the Blighted and Karil the Tainted) and has its own strengths and weaknesses.

In order to get to Barrows you can cast the Barrows Teleport using the Arceuus spellbook, although it requires you to have 83 Magic and at least 60% favor with the Arceuus House or you can just use a Barrows Teleport but you'll need the same requirements as just mentioned. There are plenty of other ways but they're a bit more time-consuming.

In the Barrows minigame you have special drop mechanics, initially you get one roll at the drop table. Every Barrows brother that you kill, will you get another roll at the drop table, though there's a limit of six rolls. If you kill Dharok the Wretched, all associated items with Dharok will be added to the possible rewards you can get. So if you're aiming to get a specific item, make sure to kill the Barrows brother it's associated with. As mentioned before, for every brother you kill you get an extra roll at the drop table, meaning if you just kill one brother you have a 1 in 392 chance to receive a piece of Barrows equipment. Two kills equals 1 in 334, three kills equals 1 in 276, four kills equals 1 in 218, five kills equals 1 in 160, and last but not least six kills equals 1 in 102.

The ground above the Barrows brothers has six grave mounds surrounded by a fence. Verac is at the upper-left mound, Dharok at the upper-right, Ahrim in the middle, Torag at the bottom-left, Karil in the middle of the bottom, and Guthan at the bottom-right. You'll need a spade in order to dig into the graves, this is done by simply standing on top of a mound and using your spade. When you get inside of the crypt, there'll be a stone coffin in the middle. If you open the stone coffin a brother will appear, after killing it you leave and proceed to the next one. Eventually, there'll be a stone coffin with no brother coming out of it, this is an entrance to a level of tunnels and also the place where you can obtain your rewards. It's not recommended to go inside of the tunnels when you haven't killed all brothers yet, because as mentioned before it'll decrease your chance of receiving a Barrows item. When this happens, you can simply proceed to the remaining brothers to kill them and return back to the tunnels after.
